
This Easter, or anytime in the Spring, is a great day to make a Bunny Butt Coaster. This is a funny pattern inspired by all the Cat Butt Coasters featured online. Bunny Butt Coaster
Notions and Supplies:
Medium worsted weight yarn in desired color. This pattern features pink as MC and cream as CC1
Crochet hook US G
Large eyed yarn needle for attaching pieces and weaving in ends.
Pattern Notes:
This pattern is worked in single crochet (sc) in the round. Ears are worked in double crochet (dc)
Gauge:
Exact gauge is not crucial for this project.

Using MC throughout
Round 1: Single Crochet 6 in magic ring. Slip stitch to first stitch to close round. (6 sc)
Round 2: Chain 1, 2sc in each sc around. Slip stitch to first stitch to close round. (12 sc)
Round 3: Chain 1, *2sc in first stitch, 1 sc in next stitch.* Repeat between * * around. Slip stitch to first stitch to close round. (18 sc)
Round 4: Chain 1, *2sc in first stitch, 1 sc in next stitch. 1 sc in the next stitch.* Repeat between * * around. Slip stitch to first stitch to close round. (24 sc)
Round 5: 4: Chain 1, *2sc in first stitch, 1 sc in each of next 3 stitches.* Repeat between * * around. Slip stitch to first stitch to close round. (30 sc)
Round 6: Chain 1, *2sc in first stitch, 1 sc in each of next 4 stitches.* Repeat between * * around. Slip stitch to first stitch to close round. (36 sc)
Round 7: Chain 1, *2sc in first stitch, 1 sc in each of next 5 stitches.* Repeat between * * around. Slip stitch to first stitch to close round. (42 sc)
Round 8: Chain 1, *2sc in first stitch, 1 sc in each of next 6 stitches.* Repeat between * * around. Slip stitch to first stitch to close round. (48 sc)
Round 9: Chain 1, *2sc in first stitch, 1 sc in each of next 7 stitches.* Repeat between * * around. Slip stitch to first stitch to close round. (54 sc) Fasten off. Weave in ends.
Tail:
Using C1 throughout.
Round 1: Single Crochet 6 in magic ring. Slip stitch to first stitch to close round. (6 sc)
Round 2: Chain 1, 2sc in each sc around. Slip stitch to first stitch to close round. (12 sc) Fasten off. Weave in ends.
Feet (make 2)
Using MC:
Round 1: Single Crochet 6 in magic ring. Slip stitch to first stitch to close round. (6 sc)
Round 2: Chain 1, 2sc in each sc around. Slip stitch to first stitch to close round. (12 sc)
Round 3: Chain 1, *2sc in first stitch, 1 sc in next stitch.* Repeat between * * around. Slip stitch to first stitch to close round. (18 sc)
Round 4: Chain 1, (1 sc, 3 hdc, 1 hdc, 1sc) in first stitch. 1 sc in next stitch. (1 sc, 3 hdc, 1sc) in second stitch. 1 sc in next stitch. Fasten off. Weave in ends.
Using C1: (make 2)
Round 1: Single Crochet 6 in magic ring. Slip stitch to first stitch to close round. (6 sc) Fasten off. Weave in ends.
Using yarn needle, sew to bottom of feet as pictured.
Ears (make 2)
Chain 3 at beginning counts as 1 DC
Using MC:
- Chain 20
- DC in 4 ch from hook. DC in next 15 sts. 3 DC in last st. (20 DC including beginning chain 3)
- Continue on opposite side of chain, starting in the next chain from the last completed double crochet Double crochet in each ch across, working directly opposite each DC on the opposite side. Work last DC into the bottom of chain 2 from the opposite side. (17 SC)
- Weave in ends.
Assembly:
Attach tail and feet as pictured using a yarn needle and strait stitch.
Attach ears to back of coaster using a straight stitch. Fold one ear down if desired to make a floppy ear and sew in position with a straight seam.
